HOW CAN YOU GET INSURANCE TO FOOT THE FULL COST?
Insurance looks at your roof by slope, or the left, right, front and back roof elevations. After a hail storm and before assessing damage and writing you a repair or replacement check, the insurance field adjuster will mark hail on each elevation to determine if that elevation has enough significant damage to require full replacement. Other factors to consider for full replacement is access to damaged slopes, how much roof SF would need replacing if damaged roof installed attic vents and valley metal need replacing in addition to and potential foot traffic required for repair areas that would lessen the life of your roof if not considered for replacement in the initial assessment.
